Rakanishu-

an Elder fire demon that once rivaled the greatest powers of hell. he lost most of his power over 5000 years ago to a massive combined assault from demons, angels, and humans alike. furthermore, his spirit was forcibly split into two identical halves, weakening each part further. however, just because he has lost alot of power, doesnt mean he is powerless, quite the contrary. each half of his spirit is carried by Nameless and Kinetos, and both halves each have the destructive power to take on just about any standard earthly entity with ease. the only problem he has is that, because each half is sealed in a powerful artifact, neither is able to act freely.

despite being split, he is not two separate creatures. his spirit is merely forced to inhabit two places at once.

Rakanishu's halfs are exactly identical and bestow both kinetos and nameless with similar effects. Rakanishu stores and manipulates the spirits of previous opponents that dared cross his path. he can use these spirits as batteries to power his attacks (they recharge over time, as all spirits do) or he can release them to fight as summons, their free will destroyed and replaced with a never ending demonic rage.

While Rakanishu is split in two (which is pretty much all the time), his body will manifest in a gaseous red haze that loosely forms into the shape of his body. his skull is the only thing that maintains its shape consistently. the rest of the body takes whatever form you can imagine.

In the event that his spirit halves are united, his body will manifest in 16 tons of blood, flesh, and bone. the general look of this form is shown, but detailed renditions will be posted in the later rounds when i plan on using it.

Rakanishu, being an ethereal spirit, can attack the spirit directly, warping and burning the spirit inside the body. Attacks of this nature will indirectly damage the part of the body corresponding to the area of the spirit attacked. in serious cases, parts of the body damaged in this manner will start to undergo necrosis, the tissue on the body literally dies and rots while the life form is still alive, until/unless the spiritual force of the body recovers.

however, unlike his minions, Rakanishu has access to so much raw power that he can concentrate his spirit into such a dense form that it becomes almost solid. in this state, rakanishu's formless spirit can deflect incoming physical attacks, and shift into shapes necessary for whatever he needs to manipulate in the physical world. in contrast to Kineto's enders blade, his spirit is still ethereal, so even in its ultra dense form, is sensitive to outside spiritual interference.

his most fearsome ability is (with nameless's or Kineto's permission) taking over the body of a person who willingly accepts his spirit. this 'voluntary corruption' changes the body into a demonic form fitting rakanishu's original profile. in more conservative instances, when he still needs to provide external spiritual support, Rakanishu will simply run his spiritual energy through a part of the body to vastly expand its power in a specific location. seeing nameless or kinetos with a single mutated arm, or wings in the back, is not unheard of. in more extreme situations, rakanishu takes over the body completely, and replaces the human body with a completely new physical entity, a Fire demon in its truest sense. in this new body he can do just about anything with fire, from lobbing it in a ball towards a target, to creating physical swords/whips out of it, to teleporting from one fire to another.

his defining feature is supporting nameless and kinetos with a wide array of demonic effects. While his physical abilities are impressive, they are proportional to the body he inhabited, and (because he usually cannot inhabit an opponent) doing so would require removing Nameless or Kinetos from the battle temporarilly to take over. in addition, he cannot perform any of the abilities nameless or kinetos specialize in, he is limited only to what he can already do himself (which is strictly fire magic and his spiritual manipulation).
