did i mention i really <3 katamari damacy? yeah well i'll say it again...

I <3 Katamari Damacy (again)

my art final was supposed to be a colage of repeating designs being restricted by the lines of the original form of the image and scribbles drawn after cleanup. atfirst i almost felt like i was vandalizing the art i spent so much time on... but after finishing it up, i couldnt possibly regret a thing... i wish i could've posted this up 3 days ago, but you guys know how high school graduation is... theres so much to do and so many parties to visit and so many activities to take part in...

anyways... i'll save that for another rant... materials included are big regular poster paper, 3 felt tip sharpies... (yes i actually completely spent 2 sharpies on this... i think the third is about half way done) and a tracing paper for getting the design down and ready... total time spent is roughly 1.5 weeks, on and off, about 8 hours on the total project... including designing, scraping, redesigning, tracing, scribbling over the result (this stage hurt the most emotionally), and filling in the paterns (i think i still have carpal tunnel from this part)...

no crits... im not gonna improve it, simply because its ink and i see no way i could without changing or redoing the patterns anyways... but you're always free to leave a comment!
