Winter has come, and the people of SDL are feeling the cold bite of winter. Snow blankets the land, and the kids crowd around the fire for a calm day of staying warm and roasting foodstuffs. BUT! the activities continue! In the interest of keeping the SDL duelists from freezing up, the SDL Taichos have come together to keep everyone busy during this cold winter season!

Firstly, this event will run side by side with ~dire-musaera's SDL Winter Ball, the sister event to the Winter Bash. You can find it here: [link]

Duelists entering the Winter Bash must bundle up this year for frosty cold fun! Keep those fingers and toes warm, because getting cut is going to hurt like a bitch with frozen steel! Once they’re nice and wrapped up, send em out to the town square to sign up! There will be booths set up for registration! 16 lucky people will be picked to participate in this years Winter Bash!

Oh and be sure to beat the crowd and get signed up before your peers!



Entry Rules:
To enter, artists must submit:
- A Winter themed redesign of their character. A nice simple front and back view will do. (this does not necessarilly have to take the form of a reference sheet. You are allowed, and encouraged to (hopefully) use your Winter Ball entry to fulfill this requirement. Whatever you do, make sure this piece shows a full front and back view of your character.)Edit!: For the sake of fairness, no reference sheet can qualify for this requirement unless:
1. It was submitted AFTER October 1st.
2. It shows both front and back view
3. It shows a significant change from the characters original design, that fits the winter theme.

For characters with Winter themed designs submitted prior to October 1st, a redesign is not necessary. however, you must still provide a new reference.

- A short audition entry showing the character finding a way to enter themselves in the competition, whether it be beating the crowds to sign up, bribing the judges, or, perhaps being invited by a Taicho?

Fighting will occur on the cold, icy, winter streets of japan. The areas will look similar to this: [link] .

Winter Bash Auditions and Redesigns should be submitted to *Eternityhero by December 30th, 12:00 midnight, pacific time, the same time as Winter Ball.

The 16 accepted duelists will be announced on New Years Day at the stroke of midnight!
